Sainte Anne - Gros Sable beach

Plage de Gros SableThe "Gros sable" beach is located in the town of Sainte Anne, about 5 kilometers from the exit of the town, going to Saint François.
On the right, a sign invites to follow a small road. We cross  some residential districts, then we arrive on  a parking lot in edge of the beach. Covered with stones and a rather coarse sand, this pretty wild shaped beach cove aptly named. Uncrowded by tourists, it is popular with surfers. It is bordered by a lake. One can easily deduce that this water risk, especially late in the day, attract few mosquitoes. As for swimming, we did not test, so we did not know what the seabed is made or if swimming is dangerous, or not ...
