Saint-François - Beach : de la Coulée

Plage de la Coulée

The "plage de la Coulée" is part of a series of beaches that follow each other along the road to the "Pointe des Chateaux" (outside Saint François). The "plage de la Coulée" is the first of these beaches, it is located in the bend called "Coulee". To get there, it's just off St. François. Follow the road along the golf, and the aerodrome. As soon as you see a "piece" of sea in front of you is that you have arrived. It is a narrow beach, bordered by vegetation. Park your car along the road (in front is the restaurant "Colombo"). An ancient tree is located at the entrance of the beach. The place is very crowded on weekends (difficult to park). And if you continue on your way towards the Pointe des chateaux, you will reach the "Anse Loquet beach"
